New Construction
John Bludworth Shipyard, LLC provides a full design service. We utilize state-of-the-art computer aided design, drafting, steel burning processes and automated welding process. All steel material is abrasive-blasted and coated with construction primer prior to fabrication and construction. Welding is performed by USCG /ABS certified welders. Past projects include our own 4000 ton dry dock, a 20-car ferry for the Texas Department of Transportation, several Inland push boats ranging in size from 1200 HP to 3400HP, 4 dredge tenders and 2 deck barges.
